Enterprise Sales Development Representative (SDR)

About the Role
Syrenis is a global leader in consent and preference management, powering compliant, personalised customer experiences for major enterprises across regulated industries. We are expanding our US presence and are looking for an experienced Enterprise SDR who knows how to identify, qualify and create real pipeline opportunities within complex organisations. This is not an entry-level outbound role. You will be engaging with senior decision-makers, including CIOs, CPOs, CMOs, CISOs, Data Privacy Officers and Enterprise Architecture leaders to understand their digital, regulatory and data-governance challenges and position Syrenis’ SaaS platform as the strategic solution. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing and Product to accelerate US growth and ensure we are targeting the right accounts at the right time with the right message.Key Responsibilities
- Execute targeted outbound prospecting into enterprise accounts across North America.
- Qualify interest, budget, authority, timeline and business need to ensure high-quality pipeline for BDM/BDD’s.
- Research complex organisations, identify key stakeholders and map buying groups for multi-threaded engagement.
- Understand enterprise challenges around data privacy, consent management, marketing activation and regulatory compliance.
- Craft personalised outreach sequences across email, phone, LinkedIn and events.
- Drive attendance and engagement for Syrenis campaigns, webinars and events.
- Maintain clean CRM hygiene with accurate notes, qualification details and next steps.
- Collaborate tightly with Sales and Marketing on ICP refinement, messaging and territory strategy.
- Represent Syrenis professionally with C-suite and VP-level leaders, demonstrating an understanding of enterprise buying behaviour.
Required Experience & Skills
- 3-5+ years in an Enterprise SDR/BDR role targeting large organisations.
- Proven track record generating high-quality, multi-stakeholder pipeline for SaaS products ideally in martech, data privacy, security, or enterprise data platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise procurement cycles, compliance considerations and data governance stakeholders.
- Ability to engage confidently with C-level executives and senior directors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and able to articulate a value proposition quickly and clearly.
- Highly organised, persistent and driven to exceed targets.
- Experience with CRM, sales engagement tools and prospecting platforms.
- Based in Atlanta or surrounding area, with a commitment to working onsite at least 3 days per week.

Senior DevOps Engineer (SaaS)

Location: Daresbury, UK (3 days office / 2 days home)

We’re looking for a Senior AWS DevOps Engineer who can own, shape and evolve the entire platform layer for a modern, globally distributed SaaS product. You will design robust AWS architectures, automate everything, eliminate manual deployment steps, and build the foundation for fast, safe, repeatable releases.
You’ll work tightly with engineering, product and security teams to ensure Syrenis meets stringent enterprise expectations around performance, uptime, compliance and resilience.

Key Responsibilities
Cloud architecture & operations- Design, build and optimise highly available, scalable AWS architectures (ECS/EKS, EC2, RDS, WAF, VPN, S3, CloudFront, ALB/NLB, VPC, IAM).
- Develop Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform (modular, reusable, secure).
- Own our multi-environment estate (dev, staging, prod) and ensure consistency, security and predictability.
- Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps Pipelines/GitHub Actions/YAML).
- Implement blue/green, canary and automated rollback strategies.
- Automate provisioning, scaling, deployments, testing, and maintenance workflows.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging and alerting (CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing).
- Define SLIs/SLOs and improve reliability through engineering, not firefighting.
- Contribute to incident response, root-cause analysis and runbook creation.
- Implement strong cloud security practices: least-privilege IAM, network segmentation, encryption, secrets management.
- Support SOC2/ISO27001/27701 compliance, audit readiness and hardening of services.
- Build controls into pipelines and infrastructure by design.
- Continuously optimise compute, storage, and networking cost.
- Implement tagging, cost-allocation, savings plans and rightsizing strategies.
- Identify architectural improvements that increase performance while reducing spend.
- Work with developers to build cloud-ready services and release safely.
- Influence cloud architecture decisions and long-term technical direction.
- Mentor engineers and improve DevOps maturity across the organisation.
- Be an escalation point for out of hours incidents.
Required Skills & Experience
Technical Must-Haves- 5+ years DevOps/SRE experience in a cloud-first environment.
- Deep AWS expertise across networking, compute, storage, identity and security. Ideally AWS certified to Professional level.
- Strong Terraform knowledge (modules, workspaces, remote state).
- Strong CI/CD experience with modern pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Kubernetes or ECS production experience.
- Excellent knowledge of observability tooling and distributed systems debugging.
- Strong scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
- Solid knowledge of databases (Postgres/RDS) and caching layers.
- Experience with event-driven architectures (SNS/SQS/EventBridge).
- Experience supporting enterprise SaaS or regulated industries.
- Knowledge of serverless architectures (Lambda, Step Functions).
- Familiarity with SOC2, ISO27001/27701, GDPR, CCPA etc.
- Experience in multi-region or global deployments.
