Syrenis is situated on the Sci-Tech Daresbury Park, in a nature rich and strategically sited campus developed as a collaboration between Halton Borough Council, Langtree and the Science and Technology Facilities Council. Our offices are in Vanguard House.
We chose Vanguard House as our office, as not only does the area host an array of talent and local transport hubs but the building encompasses various positive environmental factors. A few examples of this includes; a rainwater collection system on the roof, a reservoir underneath the car park, solar panels, electric vehicle charging, and ground source heating.
We carefully consider our Technology Partners and for infrastructure we aligned ourselves to Amazon Web Services. AWS has a series of sustainability commitments which meant when we selected them as our Cloud Partner we were especially happy to do so. You can find out more information here.
Syrenis staff use technology that reduces our carbon footprint including productivity software that allows them to work both securely and remotely.
The ability to work remotely has allowed our employees to cut down on fuel consumption, and reduce travel to and from customers.
It also means our customers have more opportunity to travel less to see us too if that’s what they are prepared to do.
