First Cassie user group success

Held near Westminster, the User Group started with an introduction from CEO of Syrenis, Glenn Jackson. In attendance was organisations such as TrustFord, The Woodland Trust and The Royal British Legion. Rickey Jay-Elmer from The Woodland Trust followed with a presentation about the Trusts’ Compliance Journey with Cassie and the challenges pre-solution. Some of the core challenges discussed were audibility and connectivity of data collection points.

Rickey also discussed the opportunities that Cassie had brought to the Trusts’ Compliance Infrastructure, including a reduction in Opt-Outs for subscribers and an improved customer centric-journey.

The challenges discussed seemed to be a standard for enterprises with others citing connecting systems and therefore becoming truly compliant as a core challenge in the changing landscape of data privacy.

Glenn Jackson, CEO of Syrenis said, “We’ve seen many changes to the data privacy landscape over the last 12 months with the introduction of new legislations such as the CCPA as well as the changes in Cookies referenced by the CJEU Rulings in October. It was important therefore to bring together some of our Users to understand their core challenges so we can develop and improve our solutions.’

He continued:

‘The first user group was successful in this. Providing our users with an environment to network and discuss their challenges, as well as share best practices of both compliance and Cassie, will benefit both of us. We look forward to hosting the next User Group soon, of which I’m sure, there will be more to discuss.’

The next User Group will be held in later in the year and is open to both Cassie and non-Cassie users. If you’d like to participate please email
